This 8′ x 7.5′ Donor Recognition wall unit at Cong. Tifereth Israel in New Bedford, MA, employs David’s familiar organic forms, creating an inviting and stately monument to those who have contributed to the revitalization of the synagogue. The design leaves room for additional boughs that can be added in modular fashion as needed.
This donor recognition plaque accompanies the waterfall-themed ark installation at M.I.T. Hillel. It demonstrates how the elements of the sanctuary can be part of an integrated design that reinforces the vision of the congregation.
In this model for a 6′ x 6′ Yarzeit memorial wall, the peaceful floral graphic columns would always be back-lit, and the individual name plaques would be illuminated on their respective yarzeit dates. The Hebrew letters are the abbreviation for “Zichronam L’vracha”, (may the memory of our loved ones be for a blessing). The graphics can be customized to suit the needs of the congregation.
